Step 1

Set the Foundation

Get Minga connected and aligned to your school before you configure anything else.
Provide us with your IT team's contact info by filling out this form, so we can send them instructions on connecting your SIS with Minga.

Make sure your IT team connects your SIS with Minga. This is how student, staff, and parent information gets automatically added to Minga.

Configure your Bell Schedule. Set up your terms and period schedules so that students and staff see accurate, real-time info. (Plus & Premium subscriptions only)

Watch this short video on implementation best practices to learn how to get buy-in from staff and students.

Step 2

Gather Your Team

You can do it, but don’t do it alone! Gather your team, and we’ll gather ours to support you.

💡
TIP:
Use the in-app assistant during training so staff can find answers on their own.
Step 3

Spread the Word

Share the news with your school community, and join the Minga community too!

Let your teachers and staff know Minga is coming. We recommend sharing the Minga for Teachers page.

Add info about Minga to your school's website using this template. This will help improve change management by giving families and communities easy access to important information and answers.

Communicate with parents in advance. Share the page you created in the step above or use the Minga for Families page in the meantime, as it answers common questions.

Join the Minga Masters Facebook group to connect with other school leaders, ask questions, and share ideas.

Step 4

Roll Out Solutions

We recommend a crawl, walk, run approach. Most schools begin with 1–2 solutions, then expand after launch.
